The Smile File began with a simple yet powerful idea: the belief that small acts of kindness can create a ripple effect of positivity in people's lives.
Founded by Dr. Esther Feldman and Evan Rosenberg, Smile File was inspired by their belief in the power of small acts of kindness. They recognized that the hardworking faculty and staff at schools in their community, along with their families, often go unrecognized and face unique challenges.
They envisioned Smile File as a way to bring joy and recognition to these unsung heroes and their families, ensuring their efforts are celebrated and appreciated.
Our future goals center around expanding our partners to support more schools and communities. We aspire to expand the range of resources available to faculty, staff, and children of faculty at both neighboring schools and even outside the greater Los Angeles area.
Smile File also aims to strengthen partnerships with local organizations and corporate donors to increase its impact while integrating digital tools and platforms to enhance communication, fundraising, and outreach. Ultimately, the vision is to positively influence school environments and foster a strong sense of community support.
